Data Standardization Workgroup

Meaningful and complete data means the establishment, and timely updates , of standardized encounter data code sets, values, and specifications throughout the flow of data. We need to define what needs standardization and how we can improve it to improve data quality, completeness and timelines.
This workgroup will develop actionable and practical recommendations to achieve and sustain standardized and complete encounter data, including identifying where standardization is most essential and beneficial, and describing the most critical gaps and/or breakdowns in current standards, processes and practices.
